What your company page shows, where it appears, and who keeps it up to date.
This article is for members of an organisation that uses Portava.
In short
- Company details are changed by the organisation's team, not by members.
- Your own profile is yours to edit.
My company shows your company as other members see it in the directory. It includes the name, description, services, contact details, website and logo.
Where it appears
The same information appears in the member directory under Organisations. It also appears on your own profile and on anything you or your colleagues publish.
Who changes it
Company details are kept up to date by the organisation's team, not from the portal. This keeps the directory consistent. It also stops two colleagues editing the same record in different ways.
How to ask for a change
Send the new details to the team through Support. This might be a new description, an extra service or a changed phone number. The team will update the record, and the change shows in the directory as soon as it is saved.
Your own profile is different. You can edit that yourself from Edit profile.
