Your account and password
Changing your password, keeping your email address current, and signing out of shared devices.
This article is for members of an organisation that uses Portava.
Your account holds your sign-in, your password and your notification choices. A few minutes of housekeeping keeps it secure.
Changing your password
Go to Settings from your profile menu and choose the password option. If you have forgotten your password, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page instead. A reset link goes to your registered email address.
Choose a password that is long and unique to this portal. A password manager makes that easy.
Keeping your email address current
Your email address is how the portal reaches you. Invitations, booking confirmations and any notifications you have opted into all go there, and so do password resets.
If you change jobs or mailboxes, update your email address in Settings before the old address stops working.
Shared devices
If you sign in on a shared or public computer, sign out from the profile menu when you finish. On your own devices, staying signed in is fine.
If you ever suspect someone else has used your account, change your password straight away and let your organisation know.
