What other members can see about you
Which of your details are visible in the directory, and how to change who can message you.
This article is for members of an organisation that uses Portava.
In short
- Contact details and payment details are never shown to other members.
- Who can message you is set under Privacy.
Your profile is visible to other members of the organisation. It is never shown to the public.
What is shown
Other members can see your name, photo, job title, headline and organisation. They can also see your skills and interests if you have added them, and a Message button if you allow messages.
What is never shown
Your email address, phone number and postal address are not shown to other members. Your membership tier, payment details and renewal date are also hidden. Only you and the organisation's team can see those.
Changing it
Edit what is shown from Edit profile. Choose who can message you under Privacy in Settings.
