What Portava does not do yet
An honest list of what is not built yet, with what to do instead: branding, imports, exports, the assistant, member plans, events and more.
In short
- Branding and member imports are done by Portava for now, not self-serve.
- Exports are limited to subscriptions, invoices and contacts.
- No recurring events, no perks marketplace and no in-app release notes yet.
We would rather you found a gap here than in the product. This is the list we keep on the getting-started page inside every portal, updated when things ship. Each entry says what to do instead.
Branding
You cannot change your own logo, colours or fonts yet. Send them to us and we will set them the same day. Handing this back to you is on our roadmap.
Importing members
There is no self-serve import yet. We import your members during onboarding from a CSV export of your current system. Excel files are not accepted, so save as CSV first. Individual members can be added or invited by your team at any time.
Reporting and exports
Reporting is what you can see on the dashboard. Exports are limited to subscriptions, invoices and contacts, as CSV. Report exports in the shape your board asks for are on the roadmap.
The assistant and your website
The assistant answers only from what you have added to Portava. It cannot read your existing website. Publish the content in Portava, or add it as a resource, and it will answer from it.
Members and their plan
Members cannot change or cancel their own tier from the portal yet. Your team moves them from the Members page, and members see their tier, renewal date and invoices under Settings, then Billing.
Events
There are no recurring events yet. Create each occurrence as its own event.
Deals and perks
There is no member deals or perks marketplace. Organisations that offer perks list them as resources or news for now.
Release notes
There is no in-app list of what changed yet. It is on the roadmap.
