Member-submitted events
Members can propose events, and you decide what is published.
This article is for the administrators who run an organisation's Portava portal.
In short
- Member proposals wait in Approvals until you publish them.
Members can propose events from the Events page. Nothing they submit is published until your team approves it.
Reviewing
Submissions wait in Approvals. Open one to see the details, edit anything that needs tidying, and approve or decline. The member is emailed either way.
What approval does
An approved event appears in Events for all members. It is attributed to the member who proposed it, with their organisation's logo. It behaves like any other event, so members can book and it counts in your figures.
Turning it off
If you would rather not accept proposals, the option is under Membership in Portal settings. It is set per tier, so you can allow it for some tiers and not others.
