Keeping your saved list useful
A saved list only helps if you can find things in it. A simple routine for pruning and using yours.

A saved list can grow until it stops being useful. Two small habits keep yours worth opening.
Save with intent
Save things you have a use for, rather than things that are merely interesting. "I will need this at renewal time" is a better reason than "seems good". The test is whether you can say when you will come back to it.
If the answer is never, reading it now for two minutes beats saving it forever.
Prune as you go
Whenever you visit Saved items, unsave anything you have finished with. The event that has passed, the guide you have read and acted on, the thread whose question got answered.
Unsaving removes nothing from the portal. The item stays exactly where it was, and you can find it again through search or save it afresh.
Pruning protects the list itself. Ten live items you will act on are worth more than a hundred you have to scroll past.
If you find yourself saving the same kind of thing repeatedly, such as every funding resource, it is worth telling your organisation. What members save is a strong hint about what they should publish more of.
