Finding your way around
A short tour of the main navigation and where the everyday things live.
This article is for members of an organisation that uses Portava.
Everything in your portal is reached from the navigation on the left, or the menu button on a phone. A short tour saves a lot of wandering.
The main sections
Home is your dashboard. It shows what is coming up and what is new since your last visit.
Under Engage you will find Events to browse and book, Members to look up other people and organisations in the directory, and Discussions for open conversation.
Knowledge holds News and Resources. This is where your organisation publishes announcements, guides, templates and recordings.
Your own things, My tickets and Saved items, sit at the bottom of the navigation.
Search and the assistant
Search works across the portal, so a name, an event or a topic is usually one search away. For questions rather than keywords, such as "when is the next breakfast event?", use Ask AI. It answers from your organisation's published content and links to its sources.

These help articles cover how the portal itself works. For questions about your organisation, such as membership, invoices or a specific event, contact your organisation directly. Their contact details are in the portal.
