Answering a survey
Where surveys appear, what happens if you stop part way, and who sees your answers.
This article is for members of an organisation that uses Portava.
In short
- Open surveys are under Surveys, and unfinished ones wait for you.
- Each survey states whether your answers are anonymous.
The organisation sends surveys to members from time to time. It might be a question about an event, a check on what you need, or feedback on the year.
Where they appear
Open surveys are listed under Surveys. You may also receive an email or see a prompt on the home page. A survey you have started but not finished stays there until you complete it.
Who sees your answers
Each survey says whether it is anonymous. In an anonymous survey, the organisation sees the answers but not who gave them. In a named survey, your answers are attached to your membership record so the team can follow up.
Editing an answer
Once submitted, answers cannot be changed from the portal. If you need to correct something, contact the organisation's team through Support.
